Kevin Laughlin, Venture Partner, joined TCV in February 2008. Prior to joining TCV, Kevin was the CFO at All Covered, a TCV portfolio company. All Covered is one of the largest providers of technology consulting and managed services to small businesses in the U.S. Kevin joined All Covered as CFO in October 2002. Kevin also served as the CEO of All Covered from January 2004 to August 2006. From 2001 to 2002, Kevin was a consultant, where he served as the CFO for several early stage companies, including Seven Networks, a provider of email software for mobile phones, and Notiva, a provider of payment settlement software. From 1993 to 2000, Kevin was the Director of Finance and then CFO of International Network Services (INS), a network consulting and network management software company. Kevin was the leader of the finance organization and a member of the executive team throughout INS? growth from a $3.5M private company with 45 employees to a $440M public company with 2,300 employees worldwide. Kevin played a central role in raising venture capital to fund INS through its early stage, taking the company public in September on 1996, acquiring Vitals Signs and selling to Lucent for $3.7 Billion. From 1989 to 1993, Kevin was the Controller at Electronics for Imaging, Inc. (EFI), the leading manufacturer of color printer controllers. Kevin was a key contributor in the growth of EFI from a 20 person development stage company to a $100M international public company. In 1989 was an Accounting Manager at Oracle Corporation. From 1983 to 1989, Kevin held various audit positions at Ernst & Young. Kevin was an auditor for both public and private companies as part of the audit practice and worked with start up companies as part of the Entrepreneurial Services Group. Kevin holds a B.S. in Accounting from Santa Clara University. Kevin in on the board of directors of All Covered.
